The one thing that I love about freelance digital marketing is the flexibility it requires you to have. You have to be able to know your way around different industries (like in general and like... all the time) and different markets and how they behave with the diverse set of platforms that are available. So I was lucky enough to be asked to do a pitch for an established Japanese skincare brand, LuLuLun, about to do their launch here in the Philippines, in the beginning of 2017.
I loved working on the materials for this client! I set up their social media presence and handled their content for a few months. My goal, ultimately, is to have brands that are independent from big digital agencies. So instead of having them depend on me to do the work, I rely on a teaching model so that I can teach them what tricks and techniques to use for their long-term success.
I made sure all their materials were all coherent and aligned, both visually and thematically. I also made sure that their community growth was well-paced and their customer service end was covered.
At the end of the day, if a brand or client is confident enough to take on the digital space with my guidance, then I know I will have done a job well done. :D
